Their childhood, in your voice.
Vocette™ asks you one good question each evening. You answer out loud, for a couple of minutes. Years from now, your kids get to hear it.
Photos show what happened. You remember why.
Your camera roll has thousands of pictures of them. It doesn't have the thing she said in the car, or why he cried at the end of the movie, or the voice you used when you told it. That's what fades first.
One question. Two minutes. Your voice.
One question
Each evening, at the time you pick, a question about one of your kids, shaped by today's photos and calendar.
Two minutes
Tap record and tell it like you'd tell a friend. No writing, no editing.
One more thing
A gentle follow-up brings back the detail you almost left out.
Kept for them
Every story saved in your voice, with a transcript, ready for the day they ask.
What's inside
Every birthday, a year
On their birthday, all the stories from the year they just finished, ready to play start to finish.
Their voices, too
Short clips of them laughing, singing and saying goodnight, labeled with their age.
Their side of the story
In kids mode, they add their own answer to a story you told, with a question that never gives away yours.
A story for each kid
Tag stories by kid and by topic, and find them again in seconds.
If something happens to you
Choose one person to keep every story. We hope it never matters. It's there if it does.
Some stories are for later.
Seal a story until their 18th birthday, or a day you choose. It stays closed until then.
Private by default.
- Without an account, your recordings stay on your phone.
- With an account, stories are backed up to private cloud storage only you can open.
- Kids' recordings are never transcribed or sent to the AI.
- You can delete a story, or your whole account, from Settings.
Two voices are better than one.
Soon you'll be able to invite their dad, their mom, or a grandparent. Everyone gets their own question, and the kids get every version of the story.
Someday, a conversation.
We're working toward a day when your grown kids can ask a question and hear an answer drawn from the stories you told, in your words and your voice. It isn't built yet. When it is, you'll decide whether it's on, and who can use it.
Questions
How long does it take?
A couple of minutes a night. Some nights more, if the story wants it.
What ages is it for?
Any age. Start with the day they were born, or with last night's soccer game. It's never too early or too late.
Do I have to write anything?
No. You talk, and Vocette keeps the recording and a transcript.
What if I miss a night?
Nothing breaks, and there's no guilt. Tomorrow there's a new question.
Who can hear my stories?
Without an account, your recordings stay on your phone. With one, they're backed up to private cloud storage only you can open. Sealed stories stay closed to everyone, including family and legacy contacts, until the date you chose.
Does the AI listen to my recordings?
To ask a follow-up, your recording is transcribed by Deepgram, which isn't allowed to train on it. Kids' recordings are never transcribed or sent to the AI. We only count simple events, never your stories, names, photos or recordings.
Can I delete everything?
Yes. You can delete a story, or your whole account, from Settings.
What does it cost?
There's a free version. An optional subscription is coming soon.
Is it on Android?
Vocette launches on iPhone first. Android is coming soon.
Tonight's question is waiting.
Someday they'll want to hear your voice telling their story. Tonight is a good night to start.
A small voice, kept.
